Student Recognition Program

The Mukwonago Kiwanis Club believes in giving positive recognition to students who are doing an outstanding job at the sixth grade, eighth grade and twelfth grade.

Sixth Grade Recognition Program

Two students from each sixth grade class are nominated by their teachers for recognition. Members of the club interview these students and select the student to be recognized. That student and his or her parents, teacher, and principal are invited to a recognition dinner.

(Students in parochial schools in the Mukwonago Area District are also included.)  Selected students receive a personalized trophy.

Eighth Grade Recognition Program

Two students from each house, (Park View Middle School) or class (parochial school) are nominated by their teachers for recognition. Members of the club interview these students and select the student to be recognized.  That student and his or her parents, teacher ( selected by the student) guidance counselor and principals(s) are invited to a recognition dinner. Selected students receive a personalized trophy.

High School Student of the Month Program

The Mukwonago Kiwanis Club recognizes an outstanding high school senior during each month of the school year.  Students to be recognized are selected by the Mukwonago High school guidance Program.  The selected students, their parents and a teacher chosen by the student are invited to a recognition dinner. The student receives a recognition certificate and another gift documenting his/her achievement.  Students of the month receive the privilege of using a special parking spot at Mukwonago High School for one month. The club uses a random selection process to select the Student of the Month that will receive the Kiwanis Foundation Student of the Month Scholarship which is presented at the High School during awards night.
